Yesterday, August 18th, the Village of Franklinville Police Department was proud to join the Blount Library for the annual Bike Rodeo at Franklinville Elementary School! From 10 AM – 12 PM, kids had the chance to practice bicycle safety, ride through fun courses, and learn important skills to keep them safe on the road.
A huge thank-you goes out to Jessie Frank of the Blount Library for organizing this wonderful event, and to all our community partners who helped make it such a success: Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office SRO Miller – providing ID cards for children Cattaraugus County Department of Health – sharing health and safety resources Community Bank – supporting local families We’re also proud to share that Chief Cintron and SRO Sgt. Heineman were on hand to represent the Franklinville Police Department and connect with our community. Events like this show what happens when neighbors, schools, organizations, and law enforcement come together for our youth. Thank you to everyone who attended — we look forward to seeing you at next year’s rodeo! Check out some highlights from the event below! |
