​The Village of Franklinville is centrally located in the Town of Franklinville.

The Village encompasses X.X square miles and contains nearly _____ parcels of land with a population of ____. The Village has ___ miles of roads. ​The Village of Franklinville was incorporated in 1874. The central core of the village is on the National Register of Historic Places as the Park Square Historic District. Also listed on the National Register of Historic Places is the Simeon B. Robbins House.

​Simeon B. Robbins House, or The Miner's Cabin, is a three story, Queen Anne style wood frame dwelling built in 1895. The building features three towers. It is currently used as a museum and meeting space by the Ischua Valley Historical Society.

Property Tax Information

Village tax bills are sent out on May 31st, 30 days prior to the due date of July 1st. Reminder notices are mailed out to property owners that have not paid their taxes as of September 1st.

Payments can be made at Village Offices on Pennsylvania Ave.

The following payments are accepted:
  • Cash or Check via the drop box at the village offices
  • Electronic Payment

Franklinville School Taxes

Tax bills are mailed August 31st and are due by September 30th with no penalty. Any questions regarding school taxes can be directed to the Franklinville School District at (716) 676-8000. 

Franklinville Town & Cattaraugus County Taxes

Tax bills are mailed December 31st and are due January 31st with no penalty. Payments can be made to the Town of Franklinville Tax Collector. For questions, contact the Franklinville Town Clerk at (716) 676-3077 ext 1.
