TRASH & RECYCLING
Trash and recycling collection are included as contracted services. Residents are billed for this service on a quarterly basis through the water/sewer/refuse bill.

- Garbage collection is every Tuesday. Times may vary so be sure to have items out by 6:30AM.
- Garbage can be placed to the curb 24 hours before collection. Any cans and uncollected garbage must be removed within 24 hours after collection. Having garbage at the curb outside of the above times is a violation of village law 50.22. We recommend putting garbage out Monday and night and picking up anything left over Tuesday night after collection.
- Each unit is allowed FIVE 30-gallon bags of household trash each week.
- We follow a "no sort" recyclable policy. Put all plastic, glass, cans, paper/cardboard in one bin.
- The last Tuesday of each month is bulk-item pickup.
- No recyclables will be collected this week.
- Each unit is allowed 2 (TWO) bulk items. (ex- couch and chair, mattress and box spring).
- Items not allowed: tvs/screens, freon items (fridge, etc.), construction materials, car parts, yard waste.
Please do not set out more than your allotted amount each week, please do not set out bulk items unless it is bulk week.
Violators will be given one warning by code enforcement. After such warning, violators may be fined per local law.
